Look Ma- I can fly! |
I don't know about you guys, but when I was in middle school, you can definitely say I was different. I remember one thing I did back in the 6th grade that had everyone turning their heads: wearing a white tutu over a pair of blue jeans. I loved doing things like that back when I was a kid. Another thing I would do all the time is wear my clothes how they weren't intended to be used: Skirt = dress OR shirt / Shirt = Skirt. The green dress, you see me wearing is actually a skirt I bought in South Korea last summer. People were complimenting on my pretty dress, and I would respond: It's actually a skirt! Man how I wish I could go back to those days of complete fearlessness with my wardrobe and makeup. My outfits were always splashed with buckets of color, and I used to love wearing electric blue eyeliner a la David Bowie. My style now, is definitely much more matured than what I had back in middle, but then again I guess that's what they call growing up. However, when I see people like Susie Bubble, it always makes me think that maybe I could go back to my roots.
