Something Old Something Blue

Generally, I don't like wearing leggings as pants, but because this is velvet material and I have a huge sweater, I'll let it slide. On another note, can you believe that my grandmother (La Mama) actually knitted this sweater herself? When I used to see her I would always ask her, 'Mama, can I have your sweater?' and she would respond: 'No! You need to learn how to knit........and cook, crochet, sew, clean..etc etc.' Woman was still thinking like old times... But then later on my mother would take an executive decision and would be like, 'okay you can take one..' l o l

Another part of my outfit are these flat platforms that I've bought fairly recently. If you remember a while back a posted on fb how much I wanted some flat platform shoes, thinking that it would be a great lazy day shoe when I don't want to wear heels. Not to long after that, I went into H&M, and saw these babies. My initial reaction was 'these are it! Finally the shoes I've been wanting.' So I proceeded to buy them without any further hesitation. I thought, 'yeah I'll break them in no time, and wear them all day!' Right?

Wrong!

Fast forward to now, I've worn these a handful of times, they're broken into but are one of the most uncomfortable shoes I own. So I only wear these babies when I know I'm not going to be walking a whole lot. I mean shoot, I've already spent the money might as well put them to use- just not too much walking use.
