So this is Series 1 of D&G inspired outfits, I have another dress I'm working on this week! I remember last year when I was in NYC going to my favorite store to buy my fabric ( 7th ave - between 41st & 40th st) I actually brought my mom along with me. I think the sales attendent must of wanted to hit on my mom or something because he offered my this fabric it was about 6-7 yards for only $10 DOLLARS. I wasn't really looking for a pattern fabric at the time, but I said hey, one should never pass on a great deal! So far I've made three pieces with this fabric: these two pieces you see here and a pair of hot pants.
There's still plenty of fabric left, what do you guys think I should make next?
Hope to see you soon!
Nathalie

Is the fabric stretchy?
ReplyDeleteyes it is a jersey type of fabric. If it wasn't stretchy there would have been no way I would of gotten it past my hips! hahaha
